ENERGY MANAGEMENT PLAN DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION

Great Forest offers an all-systems approach to maximizing energy management control. Clients work with all available funding sources such as utility, State and Federal incentives to lower first cost of efficiency projects and to accurately monitor their results. We build custom solutions to investment opportunities while creating a detailed view of both budget and emissions impact. We build all types of variance reporting on the clients’ customized metrics and financial concerns.

ENERGY DATA BENCHMARKING AND ADVANCED METRICS

Building on our successful benchmarking efforts in New York under Local Law 84 (2009), we are expanding into similar services in California and Washington, D.C. Since many of our client relationships begin with sustainability services and LEED certifications, we fill the gap between continuous energy and emissions reporting needs and the snapshot view of baseline data through our proprietary Metrics platform. In 2013 Great Forest will begin filing audits and retro-commissioning reports for clients required to comply with LL87 (2009) of NYC. We also provide client support to ensure compliance with local and ASHRAE standards for Measurement & Verification capability.

PROCUREMENT, LOAD ANALYSIS AND DEMAND CONTROL/CURTAILMENT STRATEGIC PLANNING

The procurement process starts and then renews with a complete analysis of the client’s load profile. Client loads are priced only after the Great Forest team conducts a series of thorough analyses of load profiles and time of use considerations and meter/data collection capabilities. We then help structure appropriate pricing and rate classes with the utility company, local suppliers and demand response providers, and economic development agencies.
