NOTE: New Deadline for NYC's Benchmarking Law

The deadline for compliance with the benchmarking requirements of NYC's Local Law 84 has effectively been pushed from May 1 to August 1, 2011. Building owners and operators will now have three more months to get ready before penalities set in for failure to comply. On that date, all NYC buildings over 50,000 square feet must report their energy consumption data for the previous year.

Concerned or confused about how the benchmarking law might affect your building?
Worried about how to get all your data ready for compliance?
